I had problems due to a car rental broker and didn't end up renting from them but goldcar personnel was very kind in trying to find a solution. Tip: do submit your reservation through them directly or anyway though any car rental website directly and not through a broker like I did.

Really bad experience with goldcar:
1- the car was not located in the indicated airport but their system requires that someone come and pick you up to go few km from the airport in the middle of nowhere - which was not convenient time wise
2 - additional "operational fees" were requested for fuel while I choose the option to refill it myself (more than 20€)
3 - in addition to the high deposit taken from the bank account (1100€), the provider also took 106€ for fuel that might be reimbursed
4 - km indicated on the contract were not reflecting the real km in the car
5 - most of the damages present on the car were not indicated on the contract and not shown to the driver
While I rent more than 50 cars per year with different companies, this is the worst experience I ever had!! At least I was not the only one since a couple in the same agency spend more than 1 hour to solve a mistake done by the operator on their credit card!!
