Friendly manager apologized for the longer queue and asked us to choose a car. The car was new, clean and decent for it's class. We got Renault Kadjar, which was suitable for Sardinia's sometimes poor roads. Returning the car was smooth.

Worst experience ever. Did not give us the prebooked car arguing with a claim "your card is maybe embossed in your country but not in Italy". Wtf? We asked for the manager but the ladies at the counter refused to call him from the backoffice. Desperate situation - all other companies were out of cars:( we have suspicion that they rented all the prebooked car and did not want to admit their mistake. Costed us extra 200€ + 50€ for a cab. Thanks a lot, Hertz!

Hertz on Cagliari Airport was not able to rent us the reserved car and left us without any possibility to get to our location.They don`t accept debit card as a deposit although they should according to Herz terms and conditions. I lost 300 €. DO NOT BOOK. VERY unfriendly staff.
