For renting a car I paid 130€ with insurance for 10 days then in the airport they told me that there is no insurance of the car and I paid 187€ more.
Never again!

I go to Sardinia every year, i tried many rent companies and after GoldCar this is by far the worst. They try to sell you any kind of insurance policies even giving wrong statements about your current policy (i had one bought online). Also, if you get a ticket, they will ask you 48.80 euros to manage the communication of your data, forty eight euros! This is more than twice then "normal" renting companies. Never ever again.

Get prepared for some long wait.... But cars are in good shape and the return process is faster. Don't buy anything additional they will try to sell you (such as insurance, assistance and model upsell)

Good, trustworthy company with friendly staff (Sarah and Claudia). Cheaper then Hertz or another company and a better service. A VW Golf turned out to be a Sportsvan, which was a nice surprise (diesel and automatic). I didn't have time to clean the car, but they told me it was ok. No charges werd made after. Will surely book again if I return to Cagliari.
