2 hours to pick up a car and then try to sell you excess cover which cost almost as much as the car hire in the first place! Europcar queuing at the next desk looked a bit more lively. Only saving grace was that the return was only 5 minutes.

Worst rental experience ever. Due to a delayed flight, I showed up 1 hour later to pick up my rental car. The car was supposedly gone already, and I had to pay 358 euro extra for a higher class. When they showed me the car, it was exactly the same class I reserved - but they just tried to charge me extra for it. When I complained, I got a bigger class anyway but had to wait for it. Took me almost 3 hours to pickup the car ! Heard about similar rental experiences at same place, seems like they just rip off tourists . Also took more then half hour to return the car... Avoid this place !!

Avoid Avis/Budget on this location. Heavily understaffed (waited more then an hour) with only 2 staff members for many reservations.
Booked an 'Audi A3 or similar', I got a Fiat 500. Not sure how these cars are similar, the Audi is twice the price. Misleading advertisement by Budget.
Paying off the liability (EUR 3000 own risk in case of scratch/accident) was EUR 30 per day, more expensive than the car, which you only hear about on location. Returning also took 30 mins with one person taking care of all incoming cars which almost caused us the flight home.

I have booked on the website of Budget a Toyota Yaris, when I was there they told me, that I have to pay more for the booked car (double price!) and in Napoli we have to accept the insurance sooo at the end, we paid more for the insurance! So we paid for 5 days (Toyota Yaris = full of bumps and scratches) 443 EUR :) Never again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
