As a 4* hotel the beds could be more confi...but apart that all great!

The room we stayed in was clean, spacious and the bed was comfortable. The hotel concierges were very helpful and friendly. However, when booking hotels in this area beware that although the hotel is on the seafront swimming in Castellamare di Stabia beach is prohibited as the water is polluted (although it doesn't seem it). The view is absolutely beautiful and but to swim you have to take the short (and cheap -about 2 euros) train journey to pozzano (or somewhere else nearby) and pay (5€ ish) to be on the beach. The beaches are very packed but clean and the sea is so warm and lovely. The train station is nearby and easy to find, so encouraged us to explore the various regions, which was invaluable to us. Breakfast wasn't bad (bread/toast, fruit, cereals, cakes, croissants, etc) but the English tea was pretty good, which is a lot better than I can say about any of the many restaurants we visited. Very happy with this hotel.
