A few days ago, October 9, 2017, my friends and I had a flight to Palermo. Initially, before we had arrived we booked a car from the company ..... Everything was great, the car was inspected, all the scratches, defects, minor damages were redrawn, which was documented and signed. We’ve received all instructions for the return of that car and actually took the key. And started our vacation. I want to say that there were two days in Palermo which we wanted to visit just at the end of our trip.
We found a hotel with a garage, handed over a car and, importantly, a hotel employee who was responsible for our car was driving by himself the car back to the garage and returned our car later. So the car was examined by him and, accordingly, examined by us during the return of the car to the rent. The car was in the same condition in which we received it from the firm October, 9, 2017.
We had so early departure from Palermo, at 6.30 am. We returned the car to the parking lot at 4:30 am, there was no receptionist at the office of the company at that time. We were warned about this immediately when we took the car and they told that this wouldn’t be a problem. However, all our problems have just begun since that moment.
At 9:30 am that morning we have already begun to receive photographs of our rented car allegedly in broken condition. And the photos were so clearly mounted that even an inexperienced person could see, for example, the wire and the shadow from it on the hood, which they tried to pass over the crack. We have been shown on the photo a serious dent on the bumper and even mounted it in such a way that we got the alleged numbers of our car! But we all know the possibilities of Photoshop!
Therefore, I warn everyone not to cooperate with this company, because they charge us with a damage bill of 350 euros. Art is such of business in Sicily! Once again, this company is engaged in machinations, don’t work with them, impressions after the rest will be spoiled.

Oooooooooh!!!!!DON'T please DON'T rent a car with tis company. They are THIEVES. Worse car rental company ever!!!!!

It was a nightmarish disaster from beginning till end !
The worst car hire experience in my life and ended up costing me 3 times more than an actual price of this car hire!
1. I rented a Fiat 500 through Rentalcars application for £80.31 for a week, which seemed like a good price.
2. Very long queue at the Catania Airport to get the car - the company only uses 1 person at the desk, occasionally 2nd person comes and goes. Takes hours.
3. The person at the desk hardly speaks any English (especially if one has any questions).
4. I didn't get the Fiat 500 at the end, but a different car. I asked if on any given day at any time I can come back to the airport and get the car I initially requested - no, you cannot! Not with this company.
5. Upon receiving the car it took a long time to record all the scratches on the car, even the very minute. And again - the inspecting carperson didn't speak or understood English!
6. Upon returning the car a different person (again - no English) examined the car even more thoroughly, and after going through the same area on the car over and over again discovered a small invisible to the eye dent. He was looking at it under different angles, using his hands to rub it - it took for him about 5 min of repetitive motions before he declared that car was damaged !
7. He took some photos and sent them (to the desk person as I found out later).
8. I protested his discovery but was directed to the desk, where I was asked to pay €235 plus €60 administration fee! Otherwise, the £900 frozen on my Amex wouldn't be returned to me.
9. In the process of looking through the papers I also noted that initially the car was given to me with 6/8 full of fuel. I did return it with a full tank as was requested on my voucher from Rentalcars (full to full). When I pointed it out to the deskperson she replied, that it is my fault, that I was supposed to be shown this at the moment of getting car (which I wasn't) and there will be no refund for that. Even if on my voucher from Rentalcars it's clearly stated that fuel policy is full to full.
10. I felt under so much pressure ! You feel like you are being dealt with in a really horrible way!
11. I was promised that they will send me the photos of the damaged area. They never did.
12. Instead I started to get unsolicited advertising emails on Italian (which I didn't get before renting the car). I don't believe I gave a permission to give my email address to the 3rd party so I can get spam advertising mails.
13. I would clearly stay away from this company. Do they exist to provide a service or some kind of the clever money extracting enterprise ?
14. I would recommend to avoid it at all costs and use a more reputable company.

A small plastic part from a side handle went missing. Apparently that costs €500 to them. Really a rip off which ruined our holiday when returning our van back.
Be careful when you're going round with the surveyor, touch and shake every part to make sure nothing will break while you're using the vehicle.

I did a detailed car inspection with Mario and there was no problem during drop off time. I have to thank Italy car rent as I left a key of my private car in rent a car, I was called and the key was returned in the very short time. The only negative remark was as I reserved Ford Mondeo and got a Fiat Tipo.
