WORST THING SINCE SLICED BREAD!! Don't rent your car here. They'll try to charge you for everything (fuel tank, damages, even if you have nothing to do with it), it's expensive AF.
They kept me waiting for almost an hour to get my car.
They don't even deserve 1 star...

Where the hell is my deposit!?!?!? I rented a car Sept 2016 from Catania Airport, 2 days in I got a puncture when I went to get the tire repaired it was clear both the front tires were not legal (as advised by the garage) and the tire that went had an existing 'patch' repair which is what gave out. Customer service was usless, advised they would pick the car up after the puncture but would leave us in the middle of knowhere. Following that we are now 5 months later and I still have not received any of my 500 euro deposit back nor any reason as to why it has not ben returned, no response when I email them, fobbed of when I call them, crappy excuse for a business, avoid like the plague!

We arrived in very hot day after night flight and being awake from the day before to walk with our havy suitcases outsid the airport when i was notified the agency inside the a.p. to be accepted in small dingi office withour aircondition and when we ask why it's not working they just ignore you terrible long ques and non english stuff!!!

We arrived in Catania airport and went to pick up our rental car. The company with which we pre booked the car with, from England, informed us upon arrival that they will not accept our visa debit card (although the head office through which we booked it initially said visa debit card is absolutely fine). So, we were left without transport, we planned to travel all around the island and we booked 6 different hotels. The situation looked dire, and the staff of LOCAUTO could not have looked less bothered that we had no alternative solution. No was no. After being refused by further 2 rental companies, we stumbled upon company called Sicily Car Rental, with lovely Lady Francesca hearing out our problem. She said we can help you, as they do accept Visa debit cards. And she did help us. She saved our entire trip and without our little rental car which we named 'Lightning ' (it was yellow, and fast) we would not have been able to explore the whole island. Francesca and Lightning, thank you very, very much. Francesca was extremely helpful and pleasant and Lightning did not let us down once. It was good we did not go with LOCAUTO. Things happen for a reason ... We would have never met Lightning and Francesca had we gone with the other company, and LOCAUTO have lost themselves businesses. Hope they loose lot more businesses in the future.
