The hotel certainly has character however it is tired and in need of renovation.
We were upgraded to a junior suite due to a large group booking.
The problem was they could only give us 1 room key. A big issue when I decided to come back early from Mt Vesuvius and my wife was in Naples
The room is noisy (air con) and there was a leak from the toilet. I told the reception of the problem stating I’m not too bothered however they didn’t apologise?
The girl on the night shift in reception and the bar man provided outstanding service!
Location is great if your intending to visit Mt Vesuvius

The definition of a façade. Beautiful on first glance but if you look closer everything is a bit dirty and broken. Room had intermittent hot water and electricity, and they set up theatre lights outside our room for an event they were doing - the lights shone right into the room

Beautiful rooms and grounds with secured parking. Nice breakfast in the morning and delicious coffee. Some staff made our stay even nicer. I recommend it! My dogs recommend it, too!

Rooms are lovely, restaurant is very nice but is somewhat limited by it's predominantly sea-food based menu. The WiFi is faster than that of a standard hotel, the staff are very nice and the hotel looks gorgeous. Only complaint is the area, it is quite far from most attractions in the area however, once the local public transport system is understood, it is not too difficult to travel around from the hotel.

The people who worked at the hotel were very friendly and pleasant. The room we stayed in was certainly beautiful from a period building perspective. However, the bathroom jacuzzi was not as sold in our booking, we paid for a room with jacuzzi but got a bath. Even though the bathroom was to a very high standard, it was not as we had paid extra for and the main reason we booked the room (it was meant to be a surprise for me). The room was beautiful, however, too stuffy, and the air-conditioning didn't produce air conditioned air but simply fanning air in the room. The high ceilings of the room meant it never got cool and it was too stuffy to breathe so we had to open the window, of which there was only one. The air-conditioning, when high was VERY loud. Likewise, when we opened the window, the traffic was VERY loud. The grounds and garden are beautiful, if not a little rundown, but this adds to the charm. Breakfast was okay, nothing to write home about. When we asked about our room, we were not offered to change or anything, just a friendly sorry, but that was it. Don't want to say it's bad, as it is charming, however, the room was missold which put a bad taste in our mouth.
