The customer service could be friendlier but everything else was OK. Read the terms and conditions before doing the reservation and there will be no surprises, they explain everything clearly.

In general everything is good, quick and easy pick up and return of car, the chipest price with full insurance in FCO airport and without holding of franchise. Rented WV Polo was in very good condition, we hadn't any problems with the car for 2 weeks and ~3000 kms. The deposit for "full tank return" was unfrozen quickly. However, I would like to notice the following remarks:
- Total Reservation price for my rental was 330,66 € (22% VAT included), but during payment at GoldCar desk it was charged from my EUR credit card - 407,42 USD for some reasons and I lost 25 € on the currency conversion. I contacted my bank and they confirmed that there was no problem from their side because request from GoldCar was in USD and not in EUR;
- My booking history disappeared from my account on website, I see it only in "Cancelled bookings".

Vary bad experience.
Strongly recommended not to make deals with this company.
We started our trip with a very bad filling because of them. Fortunately Italy is so beautiful so we forgat about them nearly after. But still it was definitely the worst experience with rental car company all over the world. And I've been in many.

Staff named Fulvia very rude and completely incapable of dealing with a minimum decency and care. She should stay hidden in the back office if she can't cope with costumers. I refused to subscribe the additions insurance despite her scaremongering. Nothing happened eventually but dealing with this lady was a very unpleasant stain on an otherwise fine experience

Staff very well prepared but company policies are meant to squeeze every cent from the customer. Beware !! if the car breaks down for any reasons you can only use their rescue truck(600 euro) even if you have a personal insurance. to avoid that cost you must purchase their expensive insurance. I had another booking for March but i cancelled due to this reason. It's all in the terms of contract and i'm fine with that but i won't come back.
