The best restraunt in Florence in terms of food quality, in my opinion ! Antipasti, pea soup, beef a la carte, fish, and dulci, everything was such a delicacy, prepared with utter dedication of chefs. It was so worth coming all the way to this place slightly off center of Florence to encounter the best of Tuscan cuisine.

Very happy we chose to return here for our last night this week. We've eaten in many places over the last week but Pane e Vino is the only one which really chose to use seasonal vegetables. We started with a pecorino flan followed by beautifully prepared pasta with seasonal vegetables or a carbonara. Both dishes were exceptional. I then choose the secondo of artichokes prepared three ways and my companion choose the veal stuffed with asparagus. The host is very helpful, especially ensuring my food was vegetarian and suggesting options. Highly recommended for a slightly off the beaten bath restaurant.

It's one of the best restaurant in Florence with a huge list of 300+ wines.
The dishes are creative and innovative, they have a local background, all the dishes I've tried where very well balanced, and several of them had a very unique and distinctive flavors and taste.
It isn't cheap, but it's not super expensive either but it's worth every single penny.
If you like great food this is definitely a place you want to try

Fantastic food cooked by a talented chef matched by knowledgeable and honest service from Ubaldo (I was steered off an expensive wine that didn't go with my food to one that matched at half the price). The desserts were a particular highlight along with the recommended vin Santo and the house amaro (a delicious licorice spirit). Go there and eat well.

Fabulous food. Everything was excellent. Wine was by the glass. Beautiful authentic food. Couldn't ask for a better meal. And a good sign was that there were locals in the restaurant!
