This is a 2 star hotel, small, but very well positioned in the old center of Florence. Many compliments to the two brothers taking care and managing the hotel, very available to help (was a bit lost with the car in the old city center - many roads are closed - and they came to get us personally and drove us to the hotel), informative and hospital, truly inviting! The building is a 500 year old one next to the house of where Michelangiolo lived. If you want to breathe some history in a pretty economical setting, this is the place to go to for you, within walking distance from every major central attraction! Would be in need of some renovation, but with old historical buildings I'm sure it is a bit of a challenge. Stayed the last floor (4th - no elevator), had a safe in the room, a small TV, AC unit, but the double bed was sadly made with 2 twin beds put side by side together. Breakfast is acceptable for the level of the structure, the coffee was good and offered multiple times. As already mentioned, stay was wonderful thanks to the nice reception and availability of the staff!

This is a small hotel (12 rooms) in the historical centre of Florence. The staff were very attentive. Wifi was great. Worked so well.
Unfortunately when checking out I left my phone in the room. I did not discover until I arrived at my next destination. I contacted the hotel via email to try and work out a solution. Through a number of emails, lovely kind comments and suggestions the staff offered to post my phone to a hotel further on during my holiday.
This offer was above and beyond what I would expect. A sign of a wonderful level of service.

Very friendly staff and good location. Rooms are clean and there's parking service. I would say quite worthy of the money spent which is also not much. Reasonable!

The room and bathroom was a bit poky but the location of the hotel and the service of all the staff was excellent. Would recommend for a budget break. (If you're staying on the top floor and you're quite tall, mind your head on the stairs!)
