I did not expect to learn so much here. The friendly guides offer tours in several languages. There is not much to see but what they do have is truly unique and the stories and research they share are abundant. I wish They had a book available of all the information I learned here. The museum shoes plans for future exhibits and I would gladly return. They also have a unique gift shop with an array of beautiful keepsakes as well as wine and other shelf stable food items. They day I went there was an artist working on site. Highly recommend!

Museum dedicated to the Jewish life in Lecce during the Medieval ages. The price of 5€ (4€ reduced) included an informative half-hour tour. Remains of structures of the former synagogue and mikveh can also be seen inside. At the time of my visit, there was also a temporary exhibition of an American artist. As of 2017, the museum is still very new and there are many plans for extensions.

Most interesting and beautifully presented. I hope the Lecce tourist authority will promote and publicise this pronject and bring it to the attention of visitors to the city.

Definately worth taking an hour or so out of your day to go visit this place, its a beautiful museum that is filled with history. The staff were all so lovely and they even had a specialised tour in english so my family and I could get an indepth understanding of this place. Just beautiful and if I could give more than 5 stars I would. Loved the experience!
