Best experience yet. It felt like home!
I lived in one of Residenza Chiaralba's apartments (I remember "Chiaralba 6") for a year and a half with a good friend of mine. We had one of the ground floor apartments in the yellow U building that had a courtyard with a beautiful olive tree and some greenery.
As a student at Scuola Politecnica di Design, the location was perfect as it was 3 bus stops away from IULM/S.P.D and the green line Romolo or 5 min away by bike.
It had 2 trams at walking distance from our house that went straight to Duomo, passing by the main interesting districts of the city.
The apartments are also of walking distance of a supermarket, a great gym that usually makes offers for students (GetFit gym), several important banks such as Intesa San Paolo, Barclays, a great restaurant/bar called Carlo e Camilla.
In fact, this district is getting more lively by the day, new places are popping up.
The service was impeccable and the staff very friendly and helpful. In fact, Cicilia, a woman who took all residents in charge, was a phone call away for anything needed (random questions about how to do things, about electricity, about water, plumbers, etc. litteraly everything). She's a multi-tasker and will be at your service with a lot of understanding as you are a foreigner in this country.
She really made us feel at home and like we had a second mother or sister to help us out whenever needed.
Apartments are very well equiped, new, clean, spacious.
All in all, I would highly recommence Residenza chiaralba for students. It was a beautiful experience.

Gli appartamenti sono comodi e spaziosi, di gran gusto e l'arredamento è di qualità e personalizzato.
La sera tardi quando ritornavo da sola mi sono sempre sentita sicura grazie alla zona che è tranquilla, la videosorveglianza e varie misure di sicurezza adottate quotidianamente nella Residenza.
Adatto ad un giovane studente non solo per la comodità delle strutture ma anche per la posizione nella città del Residence.
Grazie alla vicinanza dei mezzi pubblici si è in Piazza del Duomo pochi minuti.
Il tram n.3, adiecente al residence, percorre le vie principali più movimentate di Milano come Colonne di San Lorenzo, e Navigli.
Il tram n.15 a 5 min a piedi dal Residence Chiaralba Milano è comodo per raggiungere in pochissimi minuti l'università Bocconi e in 10 minuti per arrivare alle sedi dell'università Statale e metro Missori.
Lo staff è amichevole, attento alle esigenze e sempre disponibile per ogni evenienza casalinga ( es.se si rompe la lavatrice ecc.)
L'approccio è familiare e sa darti le giuste dritte per poter vivere bene Milano soprattutto se sei uno studente alle prime armi in una grande città come Milano.
Gli appartamenti sono comodi e spaziosi, di gran gusto e l'arredamento è di qualità e personalizzato.

I lived in Residenza Chiaralba for one year. It was an amazing experience. Great service, always available, kind, and great houses where you can feel at as you were home. It was really easy to reach the city centre, with just a bus to arrive in Duomo in 15 minutes. Moreover, if you need to reach every other venue in Milan, like for the EXPO, you just needed to go to the underground 5 minutes far with the bus. It is a great place to live for students, there are more than 4 universities close to Residenza Chiaralba, that means that if you are a student or a young professional you can find all you need to have the perfect experience in Milan. Highly recommended.

Conosco la Residenza Chiaralba Milano da 3 anni ormai perché ho avuto amici che, per studio, hanno preso appartamenti per brevi e lunghi periodi e si sono trovati sempre bene.
Le case sono comode e arredate a tema con un gusto davvero particolare, un mio amico aveva l’appartamento in stile cinema era bellissimo!!!!.
Per uno studente vivere lì è un sogno in mio parere.
La zona è perfetta a 12 min dal centro e della Movida Milanese. Vicino le università e circondata dalla metro, autobus e tram principali per muoversi in città. Inoltre il quartiere è frequentato prevalentemente da studenti e quindi è pieno di negozi, bar, ristoranti, farmacie, supermercati e tutti i servizi di cui si può aver bisogno.
Se qualcun avesse bisogno di un Residence per EXPO 2015 di Milano o per andare a studiare lo consiglio vivamente perché è uno dei migliori anche per la qualità prezzo!
