Charged us 200 euro for scratches on the roof of the car they had claimed we made. Pretty much impossible. Stay away from this company there business model is crooked!

Just back from our 12 day honeymoon. The queue was ridiculously long with only 2 members of staff at peak time. The very abrupt man at the desk then tried to sell my husband additional insurance for €180 for something that you can buy at home for about £40. My husband has been driving in his job for about 30 years and is extremely competent. The salesman went on and on about the terrain but he has driven in Crete and Cyprus so after 20 minutes of arguing the man finally took no for an answer!!!
They assured us all cars are thoroughly inspected but we found at least 4 scratches that were not on the paperwork and we made them sign for.. We found the clutch extremely sluggish although overall the car operated fine.
When we returned the car the attendant toke an extremely long time to scrutinise the car and found stretches under the front bumper that she claimed we had caused due to their ""thorough pre rental inspection" - see comments above. She found these by placing a large mirror under the car - if only we had packed one in our hand luggage so we could have spent 20 minutes examining the car when we picked it up!!!
There was no way we could deny or verify the responsibility for the damage so €140 later off we went to our plane. On return to the UK we have numerous reviews for the same company at Olbia airport referencing the same mirror inspection and damages in exactly the same place.
Do not use this car hire firm. Avoid like the plague. Buy any additional insurance at home, stick to your guns re regards any extras they want to sell you and research any firm thoroughly

I got really worried after viewing the reviews, but was already too late for cancelling. The car was looked throughly by us and the company, 4 issues were found, all were already listed in the form as prior to the rental conditions. Yes, that form was in Italian, but nevertheless it was there and the lady explained one by one. No issues at all so far, the lady doing the inspection and paperwork was very friendly also.

Do not rent their, it is the worst car rental I have ever seen. They cheat on you, advertise on low prices but then oblige you to subscribe to an expensive insurance. At the end you pay much more than anywhere else. Avoid it!!!

NEVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES RENT with this agency. Absolute fraudulent company. Worst I have ever experienced. The car we received was already damaged and they claimed all recorded on a "prior damage" sheet they gave us that was in Italian. We confirmed again on the lot with an attendant, that this damage was all recorded and we even took pictures. We go to drop of the car at the end of the trip and they first try to say we added to the damaged area but we had pictures to prove it then pointed at a non-existent "dent" that wasn't there and said this was new and charged us 340 euro for it. Do not waste your money on this despicable and blatantly fraudulent excuse of a "company". Absolutely abhorrent behavior.
