Booked this place for dinner. It was empty on arrival.
We were greeted with a free spritz and we ordered 2 dishes.
After 45 min we got our plate. I ordered fregola sarda but all I got was pasta cut in parts?! and not a word as why. Maybe they were out of fregola? I'll never know, I just left.
The food tasted good however and the staff was ok.
The price are also completely out of scope: 12 € for a soup of pasta (and not fregola) and 20 € for a salmon in Palermo cooked and served this way is a big no-no.

On our first evening in Palermo, my lovely girfriend and I were trying to find a pizzeria in the area, which was closed at the time. We decided to give Ferro a try, based on the google reviews. We were probably the only clients on a late August Friday evening.
The owners welcomed us, and brought us free spritz and bread. The cod mousse starter we had was amazing, followed by flawless pesto and prawn busiato and ricotta and aubergine concighlioni. The desserts were great as well. To top it all off, when we asked for the bill, the lady rounded it down - a new experience for us.
Long story short - we highly recommend the place

Very nice restaurant, mixing Sicilian cuisine and a touch of French/gastronomy style.

April is clearly not the time to fight for reservations - we walked in at 9pm, and were met with an almost empty restaurant, tastefully decorated in minimalist white tablecloths. The food was fantastic: several specials were described in a mix of our halting Italian and the owners halting English, but the outcome was superb, and the interactions were more fun than anything else. (The free glass of spritz may have helped!) We ended up splitting a tasty turkey salad and a beautiful piece of beef, with a primi course of salmon risotto and a subtle home-made pasta with a speck (bacon) based sauce in between. The highlight of the desserts was hot chocolate cake with chocolate sauce inside it. We took their advice, and tried a bottle of frappato wine, which wasn't even on the menu - a bit like a cross between pinot noir and cabernet franc. Overall, a delightful evening, despite the quiet.
