STUPID LADY working there didn't even bother to look at my original contract, and charged me extra fees when everything supposed to be free. I got very unlucky and someone broke the real window to steal my purse, but i was covered under insurance, but the f**king lady charged me 350 euro, plus she tried to upsell the car when i simply need to exchange manual car to auto, as per my original contract. She said okay I'll do it for free, (when it supposed to be free!!!) but then charged me upsell fee on contract. She said everything is same as original contract so just signed, but NO. What a stupid effing bit? I'm contacting AVIS to resolve this. I regret not having her name memorized, but try to avoid renting a car here from that woman.

Don't rent car seats from Avis Pisa. They are just thrown in a cabin and not safe. The first one I was given was broken, which they weren't bothered about. They fitted one seat for me incorrectly, luckily I checked and refitted. They are in very poor state. I paid online in UK £75 per car seat (5 days)!! Should have bought new ones and flown them over despite the inconvenience. Also had to wait for them to search cars for car seats...they know in advance what and when they need it...
Also, the rental agreement has been re-written making car seats £10 each and thrown on extra insurances which I had declined as I had already taken it out independently at fraction of the cost. The total I paid was the same but clearly fraud for them adding additional extras.
Also agreed upgrade (booked Clio, given a Micra) to BMW 2 series Active Tourer. When I collected it the car told me the tyre pressure was low. On checking there was a massive chunk missing from the tyre - why had they not checked as they had parked the vehicle and would have seen the warning? Replaced with a C-Max. C max was nice but not the BMW I upgraded to and didn't even have parking sensors. Would have gone back to original car had I not already been waiting in the car park with 3 year old in the heat and 1 year old waiting with my wife in the terminal for ages.
Also quoted €45 for upgrade, when signing paperwork worked out it was €60 - told due to taxes - not up front but then that turned out to be a lie as the €60 figure was made up to balance the additional extras. They confuse you with the figures by also adding on option not to refuel vehicle for €70 - staff told me to return with full tank to have €70 knocked off - she spent so long telling me about this and writing on the contract about this it distracts from seeing the fact she had re-written the agreement.
Have complained to Avis and awaiting reply.

I ordered a BMW 218d from Internet. When I arrived, they told me they don't have the BMW, but a Fiat 500L. There is no other option, they don't have other auto-transmission car. But The price is the same, they don't change. They said the two cars are in the same group. I'm really pissed off.
Later when I and pick the Fiat, I see the BMW 218d parking there, which is exactly the one I order on the Internet. There is also an Audi A3. I returned to ask why! They said both cars were on sell, I cannot rent them.
They simply cheaters!!!
Tomorrow I'm going to returned the car. Let's what will happen.

We rent a car in Avis MXP(Milan - Malpensa) on the 14-NOV-2016.
We drove from Malpensa to Pisa - Approximately 300 km and parked at city official parking lot.
When we got back to a car that was robbed. The driver left window was broken and all of our luggage was stolen on the 1st day!
Overwhelmed I and my pregnant wife that was not feeling well - We drove with no window in a freezing weather to the police and then to change the car in Avis Pisa Airport.
Apparently, the fuel for the 300 Km we drove was charged by AVIS Pisa on: 72.25 Euro!!!
AVIS Pisa was notify about the issue and We would expect they would not charge this amount.
If to charge something, to charge a reasonable amount that cover 300 km and not a full tank

Other interesting thing is that despite I paid wi-fi service, they are asking me that "Do you want wi-fi service?" What an interesting question is that, of course I want it :) I have already paid and they can see that I have already paid that's why they are asking this question. They asked me same question 3 times :)) 2 different people. The most interesting question I have ever heard.
First 3-car rental service score is 0-Star. But last service is perfect. They gave me exactly what I reserved and bought. Normally, you deserve "0". Because of last service you deserve 2 star. So these stars belong to lady that help me in the last rental service.
