Bad service. Bad location.
Waited about two hours to get the car, the GPS of which they couldn't fix in English. Didn't change the car to a different one with GPS in English. After all the hassle gave us the same car with a portable GPS... Turns out was not updates since seven years in the middle of our trip.
The car pick up garage is really narrow and gets really crowded with cars lining behind so one has to have it. The guy at the garage is extremely ride and not helpful. Very unpleasant experience especially to have on a birthday

This was the worst rental car experience I have ever had. The staff was very rude, we had to chase them down to get checked out, the car was dirty and had scratches and dents, but they were reluctant to document it. They forgot to give us a ticket to get out of the garage, so we had to back away from the gate and return to the 7th floor for an exit ticket. They tried to make me upgrade the car at more than double the price, because the car wasn't what we reserved, in addition they wanted to charge me for an extra day because I was an hour early for my reservation, but it took us over 2 hours to pick up the car. In the end, I WAS overcharged and I am still trying to get a refund of the money I was overcharged. I will never rent from this place and if Hertz doesn't address the overcharges, I will not rent from Hertz again.

One person at the drop-off/pick-up point at 267 Via Giolotti speaks English and he is an arrogant pig. I have been in Italy since the beginning of September and he is the most unpleasant person I have come across so far that wasn't another tourist. Abrupt to the point of rudeness, absolutely no customer service skills. And my car had no issues on drop-off, so why he was such a nasty piece of work I have no idea.
I wasn't the only other person he spoke down to, he also treated anyone that didn't speak Italian the same way, and women especially.
The other staff don't speak English, so why put them behind a counter of a rental car pick-up point is way beyond me...wouldn't most of your clientele be from somewhere other than Italy?
Tried complaining to the girls in the Hertz booth in Termini and they didn't really give a rat's backside and explained it away as he was a contractor.
Really detracted from the Brand, will try elsewhere next time.
Pity I couldn't award 0 Stars as you would have had that.

This is the worst Hertz location ever. I went out around multiple time trying to find the location as it showed it is in the termini station not in a parking garage across the street in an EXTREMELY busy boulevard. I had to be stuck in traffic for an hour just to go a few block and was able to call Hertz and got the correct location. When I returned the car it had a little less than a full tank since I had to drive around for an hour trying to find the location, they ended up charging me 49 euro. I wrote HERTZ corporate to tell them that it was not fair, I will pay for the fuel that I used, not a full tank. HERTZ credited me back the full amount. Now HERTZ Termini sent me a letter telling me that I owe them 60 Euro, forget that, they can figure that out with corporate if they wanna rip people off. I also got a speeding ticket I guess while using the car and Hertz wants to charge me 60 euro for admin fee but then only send me 1 page of the 4 page ticket so I have no way of paying it. This location is horrible and should be AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS

Got there early afternoon on a Wed to pick up a car I booked on Expedia. Nobody was in line and it all went as expected. Within 10 minutes I was on my way down the street to the garage to get the car. I had to wait at the garage maybe 10 minutes for other people in front of me in line.
They inspected my car and marked damage but didn't really give me a chance to contribute to the damage check. I had to point out spots and get her attention as she was already moved on to the next thing and I was a little annoyed by this so i can't give a full 5 stars in the review.
Overall it was a decent experience and I'd rent from there again. The location was great and it was pretty easy to get on the highway out of town.
They could improve by being warmer to the customers and inviting them to ask questions/contribute to the damage check.
