Sixt rent a car

Rented a car and returned half tank. The rep told me I will only be charged rental rate plus gas. Received the bill and they charged me all these taxes and surcharges I did not agree to.

The people in Roma Termini was very kind, the car was clean, and it was semi-new!

The lady at the counter was extremely aggressive. I presented her my driver license and the Italian ID that I just made a few weeks ago(hoping that it will make her job easier with the data for the system). She started to shout at me to speak with her in Italian since I have an Italian ID, acting like I forged it and like she would know the rules for obtaining it better than the local authorities that issued it. I finally didn't get the car as they were asking for a deposit double than other companies and my credit card didn't cover it. She practically dismissed me instantly. I found a decent price with them ... but the attitude was absolutely disgusting. This kind of people shouldn't have a job that implies dealing with other human beings !!

Great company, very reasonable prices!
So far, we`ve rented a BMW Series 5 in Münich and a Fiat 500 in Firenze, to return in Rome.

This way, you`ll find it better by just having a GPS, instead of trying to drive directly to the train station itself.

If you didn't rent the car from this location, good luck finding where to return it. The actual return area is down and across the street in an unmarked parking garage. You have to go all the way up to the sixth floor. Needless to say traffic is horrible around the train terminal. We rented a car in Florence to drop off in Rome. We spent about 45 minutes driving around looking for the drop off point.

As for the car itself and the rental process that was fine with very little hassle.
