You need reservation to have dinner here. Amazing Italian restaurant. I went to this place precisely to try the "Gnocchi alla romana". Definitely these are in the top 5 gnocchi I ever had between Italy and Argentina (where I come from, gnocchi, ravioli, etc, are also popular due to Italian immigration).

The beer was really good. (It was a crafted beer or semi crafted beer). All the other food seemed Italian truly qualify. Price/Quality ratio was also in the local range.

Will come back next time I'm in Rome.

This was the best Italian restaurant that we tried ... Pastas, salads, deserts delicious !!!! don't forget to make a reservation before, otherwise impossible to find a table ...
Price is reasonable!

This place came recommended from a Guardian article we read. I see from a few other reviews here that if you speak Italian maybe you will get better service - this was not the case for us. Even if you speak Italian that's not going to guarantee you even average.

The serving staff seemed like they were in crisis half the time we were there. We ordered a starter, which they forgot and only when they brought our primi and we reminded them did they remember. Then half way through our starter came the first primo, which was left to go cold while I finished my starter. 15 minutes later my wife's pasta came and I had to sit waiting while she tried to eat it. I lived 3 years in Italy, one in Rome and I can honestly say I've never had such crappy service.

What's more the food was massively over salted and when we pointed this out the waitress told us it was because of the cheese. Again I lived in Italy for three years and ate possibly 50 carbonaras and cacio e pepe in that time and never did I feel like I was drinking sea water.

Avoid at all costs.

Tried to get a table at 8:00 pm, was told there wasn't anything available until 10:00 pm. There were only about two other tables occupied out of at least 25.I don't think they want tourist's money. Didn't really feel like arguing so went down the road to il gabrielo where their restaurant was actually full and managed to seat us within in 30 minutes like every other restaurant in the world.

Went to this Restaurant to eat lunch. The people were very rude. They would take the order as if they just wanted to be done with us as soon as possible. Food was nothing special and at the end I had to get away from there and get desert in another place for I couldn't stand the people. Worst service in Rome.
