J.K. Hotel has a restaurant that partially is on the outside. We went there on Sep. 29 and it was the worst restaurant experience ever! The service was terrible. After initial order of 2 Gin and Tonics, we looked at the menu and selected our order of food and wine. We were sitting and waiting for arrival of at least our wine and nothing was happening for another 25 minutes. We were hungry and tired, it was lated at night. So, we called up a server and asked where our wine was. He mentioned that he will ask his collige who was in charge of bringing wine. Some friend of the server came around and they started to converse intensly for another 20 mnutes, while we were stil waiting for food and wine. When the friend was slowly moving to leave, we caught a server attention and prompted again. He told us that the wine is on the way and so is the food. The other server came with a bottle of wine and while the visitors was leaving sje started a conversation with this friend, while our wine was sitting on the counter not being served to us. Another 15 minutes went by and we were still waiting. Finally she served us 2 glasses of wine - one glass was great, a beautiful burgundy glass and another much smaller white wine glass. Since we paid for equal amout of 2 glasses of wine, we complained about the second glass, the server brought 2 nwe glasses of red wine. While I was really mad, I said that we would like to have 2 the same wine glasses like the Burgundy glass. Well, she came back and she could not find another burgundy glass. We agreed to 2 regular red wine glasses. As the bonus for waiting they offered another glass of wine free. The basket of bread that was put on our table without our request, turned out to be very costly, without letting us know that we had to pay for it. The appetizer finally came and it was very welcomed. Then finally the food came and we were somehow consoled. Then... the bill came. It was very faintly printed, and since we were sitting outside, it was pretty dark. However we noticed that there was a mistake in the size of main course ordered. We ordered half portions and we were charged for full portions a double price. We were also charged for the bread a huge amount and the wine had a charge for 4 glasses. I am not sure if this is a regular practice at this restaurant to provide a faintly printed bills so people don't have a chance to notice irregularity, but it certainly raised our suspicions. We asked for corrections and a second bill was presented to us with no wine charge but 2 Gin and Tonics costing 38 Euro. I have never seen such a huge charge for 2 lousy Gin and Tonics. I am not sure what 2 Lo Scorno were on the bill at 22 EURO. My guess a bread. In the end it was a very disappointing dinner. Watch out at this restaurant! I have attached the photo of this bill.

Hands down the best hotel in Europe with the most attentive service. Andrea in particular, was absolutely amazing! He takes care of his guests as if they were his own family and his attention to every detail is incredible. We will absolutely be back again! Thank you JK Place for making our vacation truly unforgettable.

This hotel is one of my favorites ever!! We stayed in 2014 and I never wrote a review till now. Gorgeous, huge suites, amazing staff, the best general manager, and the coolest bar. I always recommend this hotel to all my friends and can't wait to stay here again. Also, the best location centrally located in Rome!!!
