Was expecting much worse after reading some reviews. The first room we got was in the old part and was definitely adequate though not of a high standard. We decided to upgrade to a newer room and were very happy. I'd rate it higher than a 2 star hotel in the new rooms. Breakfast wasn't amazing but sufficient. I don't recommend sitting outside because of all the pigeons.

Rooms were very warm and humid, no air conditioning. A little bit better breakfast than expected. OK bathroom. Decent service. Nice and calm location.

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel for our vacation in Venice. Our room was really nice and neat. Very arranged and cleaned hotel. When we arrived at the front desk the stuff was very polite and got us in our room right away. The hotel has great location and is closed to many sights. If we are coming back to Venice we will definitely check in again at Hotel Alla Salute.

It's the worst place to stay in Venice. Although it's a quiet part of Venice and close to main sights such as S. Marco, the walls were so thin that i could hear coitus of nice couple from the top number, screaming baby from another...and moreover the cleaning lady took all the soap so i even have to ask for ADDITIONAL SOAP.
That has never happened to me at any hotel on the planet!
