Amazing place to stay! Beautiful building, grounds, and accommodations. The staff was super helpful as well. Our early morning water taxi was unable to operate due to heavy fog, but the front desk staff managed to get us on another in time to get our train.
Only negatives are: the food is over priced and not nearly as good as the local fair in Venice; the air conditioning shuts down on Oct. 1st; and our bill included a donation already itemized we had to verbally opt out of (which I thought was presumptuous, since I know nothing about that charity).

I was taken to the San Clemente Palace by my boyfriend for a surprise weekend away this August bank holiday weekend...it is the most amazing place I have ever been! The grounds and the building are incredible, and all the furnishing and decorations are beautiful. The staff were all wonderfully accommodating and couldn't do enough to help you, the peace and quiet away from Venice was a godsend after a busy day, and the boats were extremely convenient...I could go on and on about how good it was, I loved everything about it!
Whilst we were there, my boyfriend proposed on sunset hill and everything about it was perfect; the Ladies in Red helped him to plan and execute the perfect proposal complete with flowers, candles and champagne, and they did the whole thing with total discretion, I had no idea what was coming!
It was perfect, and I loved every minute of our trip, we are already planning to return for our honeymoon!

I had the pleasure of staying at San Clemente Palace Kempinski in Venice with my girlfriend. I highly recommend this wonderful establishment. The staff is forthcoming, and the island offers the perfect getaway from an otherwise very busy Venice, with boat rides every 20 minutes to and from the island. We were generously upgraded to the "Venice suite", which is a gorgeous and spacious room. If you are lucky, you might even see the hotel's mascot "Clemente" - a beautiful white rabbit that roams the island. :-) We would like to thank the kind team at the hotel for the lovely stay and hope to come again one day!

The hotel building was stunning. Lobby, rooms and the outdoor are was just amazing. But there's å season why this hotel only gets 3/5 stars from me, the service was terrible, and the poolside restaurant was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. The menu was limited, and the mixed seafood dish contained only octopus that evening. The catch of the day dish was the most overpriced dish I've ever seen. A small fish, maybe 200g and some standard salad was a stunning 60 euros. Anyone could've made that dish for less then 5 euros. I had to order something from the room service because I only got six (apparently prawn stuffed) raviolis for 25 euros. They had closed the room service kitchen at 00:00 so they only served cold dishes, wich I had to wait 40 min for

Beautiful facility filled with luxury and beauty. Very helpful, courteous and friendly staff. Accessible by hotel's boat or water taxi, 15 minutes from Venice. Groomed gardens with beautiful status are peaceful and serene. Breakfast buffet is diverse and well presented. Overall, a wonderful experience.
