We stopped at this place and had spaghetti and managed to talk to the owner. I think the owner is also the guy who is a waiter. He is alright, if you talk to him he is not grumpy or anything. We also saw the shield that says they don't care about "nerds, loosers and tripadvisor" and asked the owner about it. My impression was that he is just a local guy who runs this restaurant for many years and if he does not feel like smiling on a particular day he won't do that just because he has to :) I think it's a cultural difference to other countries. The food was fine as well.

The only place I stopped at in the whole of Venice where the owner seems actively annoyed to have customers interrupt his day. Basil Fawlty has nothing on him.
He even had a handwritten sign on the door saying something along the lines of "losers and geeks of Trip Advisor stay away", yet does nothing to court favourable reviews. One grumpy bastard.

The pizza was great and the staff was really nice! The food came quickly and the prices were just right. Also really close to the vaporetto station.

One of the worst "pizzeria" in Lido of Venice. Bad service and mediocre pizza. If you, by a bad luck, go there with babies do not ask for the high chair: it's dirtyer than their toilet.

We ate here without reading the reviews. The poor reviews are exactly on point. Food was poor at best. This was the worst so far in my 10 days of Italy. Only the pizza was OK but the staff was not friendly at all. The more expensive diahes are very poor. I recommend them to find another line of work not dealing with customers. You would think it would be nice helping people on their vacations. Avoid this place.
