Unfortunately the terrace was closed for a birthday party, but the view is extraordinary and inside, it also very nice. The personal is very friendly and helpful, very good English spoken, if you want to spend a nice evening in Verona, Al ponte is bull's eye!

Charming little place by the river that probably has one of the nicest outside seating areas in Verona. Serves nice drinks at reasonable prices with a nice aperitivo on the side. The place does get busy so either ask to book a table (you can book the outside tables) or show up on a less crowded time of day/night.

Really nice view, nice drinks however when we asked for a basket of bread that we would pay for, we were refused because "the boss only sells bread to those who order meals" so therefore disappointing. Can't pay for bread!!! Really! Think we've paid €30 on drinks and offered to pay for some bread. But the boss says no to bread. If you want a snack with your drink you will be told you won't get one here!

Brilliant location overlooking the river and bridge on the small outside terrace, if you can get a table. Best book in advance to avoid disappointment. Look out for the Hummingbird Hawk Moths feeding on the geraniums on the wall in the summer.
