The view was great from the restaurant on the top floor, and the bedroom was a normal, clean hotel room.
Wasn't really a fan of the food, though. There were only two choices of tea, and pretty much all of the Japanese food available had fish in it. And a lot of food that tasted like it should probably be served hot was only lukewarm. They had a large variety of breads, though.
One other weird thing: as far as we could tell, the room's light control was in a corner that required crawling across a bed to reach.... I saw no other switch for the main lighting.
Wait, one more weird thing: we put up the "do not disturb" sign, as we didn't need our room tidied, and rather than most places that will leave a note under the door saying something about getting additional room supplies from the desk if needed, these people literally hung a bag on our doorknob full of every item in our room we might have used and might need a replacement for (towels, toothbrush, comb, tea, etc.)....

It looks like the room we're staying in was recently rennovated, with a new accent wall and wood-like fixtures. It's a clean room, though the chairs have some staining, with great views of the city. Our bathroom looks like it was inspired by an airplane lavatory, but again, it is clean and functional. It's close to the Peace Park and some very tasty restaurants (check out Karsiyaka) and for that, we'd return.

Best toilet i have ever s(h)at upon. Seat heating, bidet function and some weird anti odor button that im not too sure about. Also beds were comfortable, room clean. Breakfast here is way too expensive though, so 4 stars.

Quite enjoyed our stay here. Room was basic but nice, and staff/housekeeping were very good. We just stayed two nights, but we were very happy with the hotel.
Excellent coffee (cappuccino) downstairs, which is a real plus!

The hotel was clean and the staff very helpful. They arranged taxis to the train station when we left this morning. The staff also gave two excellent restaurant recommendations, one for lunch and one for dinner. The hotel is also very close to the Hiroshima peace park and museum and A-bomb dome.
