If you like ramen, a visit to this place should definitely be on your list of things to do in Yokohama. The museum itself is fairly small, but the history is detailed well. The best part of this place is downstairs. The area is designed to look like a post-war street in Tokyo down to rusted old phones and graffiti. In these shops are 9 different ramen restaurants serving different styles of ramen, all via vending machine tickets. All the machines we saw had English diagrams in some way.
The gift shop upstairs contained a good selection of ramen related items, dishes, a few books (in Japanese), and a build your own ramen kit, that allows you to choose your base, oil, and flavor, then comes with noodles. You can also buy singles slices of chasu that are vacuum packed so they keep for a while. The kit was 500 yen.
There is an admission cost for the museum, but it was cheap. You will not be able to access the restaurants without paying this.

Excelent place to visit. The museum holds a peculiar look, bringing a rather classic atmosphere. Inside of this, there are about 7 restaurants with a different variety of ramen in each. The flavor is very good in all of them.

Don't expect to see some big exhibition, but rather an amazing "set" built to resemble an old Japanese street, filled with ramen shops where you can taste many variants of ramen.

I love ramen so going to this place is a no-brainer. You can try different ramen here -- I love that half-sized portions are available so you can try a couple of shops without getting full and spending a lot. There's also a souvenir shop where you can buy take home ramen.

If you are in the area it's worth checking out. The admission was cheap but bring an extra 2500 yen to eat at one of the many famous ramen restaurants on the lower floors and arrive with an empty stomach. I was full after two mini bowls (700 yen each). I think at each stall there is a minimum of one order per person. We arrived 90 minutes before closing so it wasnt busy. If the waits are more than 45 minutes I wouldn't bother.
