We called ahead to make a reservation for a tour. Although the guide spoke only Japanese (I know only English), there were a couple videos during the tour that had English subtitles. There was also an English pamphlet. There was a free sake tasting afterwards. As usual, everyone was very nice to us foreigners and seemed happy when we practiced the little Japanese we did know.
This tour is good if you happen to be in Kobe or are seeking out a sake brewing tour. Otherwise, the tour is quite short. We were grateful for the experience though!

So tasty sake served here, and food us excellent. You can buy bottles of sake, too.

I need addition to being able to purchase a variety of renowned Japanese Sake, on offer are also a variety of tasty additions to meals. The buildings themselves reveal the history of the sake brewing process. Enjoy!
