Don't accept credit cards after ordering drinks and meals, then said there is a atm nearby .. Paid in cash but left me without cash... In Kyoto with all the tourists, how can this be? .... She even said it wasn't convenient for them to accept credit cards.... Pretty pathetic in my opinion. Not going back

Good beer and food, as long as you don't mind smoking indoors. Lot lots of smoke.

This is a nice little pub if you want to grab a drink near the station. During the day, it's pretty quiet, so it's a good place to go if you want to get away from the crowds while you're at Kyoto Station. The only downside is that the service can be a bit slow for food.
