Very friendly staff and excellent rooms. Shuttle to Kyoto Station twice every hour. I would highly recommend this hotel if you're staying in Kyoto.

We were on a tour around the various places in Japan. The location wasn't too far away from the bus station, and you could definitely underestimate the quality from the outside. The rooms were perfect, although we had to take seperate rooms for the space. The beds were comfy and everything. And there wasn't much service for us besides bringing our luggages around.

The room was a nice fusion of Western hotels with Japanese styling. The breakfast here is unbelievable and the hotel concierge was more than happy to call and book reservations for us at a local restaurant for dinner, she even printed out the map for us to give the taxi driver to get there.
