Even on a dull rainy day this is a nice garden to visit. The entry fee includes a really nice brochure that will help you remember the garden. When I visited there was a small art exhibition in one of the buildings within the garden.

Wonderful experience. Tranquil spot in the middle of the city. Able to enter an upstairs room and get a sense of the owners view out over the garden. Extensive tea houses and pond give a marvellous picture of a Japanese garden.

Avoid. Run down, mostly under construction and not as nice as most gated gardens in Tokyo. Also very few places to sit and relax or read. Nothing compared to Rikugien, Hamariku, etc.

The staff is really nice and speaks very good "oba-chan English" as they said themselves. They give you an amazing amount of information. The garden is nice and peaceful, at the moment however its most famous bridge is under construction and there is no water in the lake either, which takes away a good deal of the garden's charme. Better go there when renovations are finished in October.

Best peaceful placen despite in the central Ktoyo.
We could enter the 2 floor house and go up to see scenery around this garden as if i was a resting priest in acient times. Thats because the priest came from adjacent temple name of which i dont rememeber after their retirement
