Nice mid size more formal park in the heart of Nagoya. Great place to escape the city yet still be in he heart of it.

Lovely and spacious park attracting people of all age groups and genre. Open all round the clock and has performance from local groups every now and then. Also has a baseball court and a amphitheatre in the far end with a many beautiful ponds. One of the best place to enjoy Cherry blossoms season in Nagoya. Also popular among Cos players and other photographers.

We visited this park with friends and the kids loved it. The playground isn't the fanciest around, but it's spacious and can accommodate a lot of kids.
The space feels inviting. If I played an instrument better, I would be tempted to play there. If I meditated, I would absolutely meditated here. For now it's a great place to stretch out with the family and enjoy a little nature time.

Tsuruma Park is a really great place to take some rest and enjoy some kind of nature, sports and performances. You can visit it alone or with your lover for romantic, and with your family and kids. May and June is particularly colorful due to blowing roses, irises and lotuses.
