American ethnic food in Osaka. This is pretty much everything you expect from a Hard Rock Cafe anywhere in the world, same American/Mexican dishes and drinks, mega-sized portions, and really too loud music. Overall though it is an enjoyable experience - the staff are friendly and attentive, and the place is clean and comfortable. Obviously there are English, sorry I mean American, menus, and language never seems to be a problem for the less proficient Japanese speaker.

Got one of their alcoholic coffee beverages (forgot the name). Although a little expensive (after all, it's my first time in a Hard Rock Cafe), it was very well prepared and the balance between alcohol and coffee is perfect.

Extremely overpriced. A burger without fries is atleast 2000¥. Fries are around 1000¥. Drinks are overpriced. And they add a service charge. In Japan! The burger was ok. Not worth the money.

Centrally located and with a distinct American "rock" vibe, this restaurant is popular with locals and tourists alike. The menu is a bit on the expensive side but you get what you pay for with unusual (by Japanese standards) dishes and large portions. Unlike many Japanese restaurants, the Hard Rock Cafe will let you take most leftovers home in a doggy bag should you desire. They also do carry out orders.
There is a small shop near the entrance where fans can pick up Hard Rock Cafe merchandise.
My one complaint with this restaurant is that the music is too loud to have a normal conversation with your meal partner(s). I know this contributes to the "rock" atmosphere but I find it annoying, especially when I actually want to talk to the people I'm with.
A couple other pluses for this restaurant are that most servers are bilingual (there is of course an English menu in addition to Japanese) and that they're happy to welcome mothers with children (strollers included).
