Same as everyone else. Showed up, bar was empty and we were just told "No". 4 people.

Very unfriendly. Refused to seat us though the place was near empty. See other reviews.

Same experience as many who have reviewed above. Bar advertises as open at5pm. A group of 4, we arrived at 5pm to an empty bar to be told "no seats" "closed" - unsure if this was because we were foreign or in wet weather travelling (as opposed to business) attire. Bar only seats 6 - 8 people so perhaps only caters to locals? Ended up ( after several similar experiences) at Kaka Bar - also empty but we were welcomed; tried 3 different sakes ( dry, sweet and sparkling) as well as shochu ( similar to whiskey) and had a great night.

Tried going here because we read about it on a blog. Showed up one night and were told that there were no seats available. It seemed like there were but it might of been tight. So we decided to come back the next day early to make sure we could get seats. We showed up and there was no one there but the owner. He told us that he would seat 3, but not 4. There were tables that looked right for 4. We aren't sure why we were denied.

Kuri is very small bar specialized in Japanese sake and other alcoholic beverages, including shochu. They have over 100 varieties of sake from all over Japan. They serve sake in 60ml glasses for 300yen, but we recommend the 2,100yen tasting set where you can taste 6 different kinds of sake in 60ml glasses. The food menu is limited but it offers savory snacks from across Japan. The average price range is around 3,500 yen including an 800 yen cover charge for which an assortment of small snacks is served. 3 minute-walk from the C2 exit of Ginza station.
