A billing machine pretending to be a hospital. I went to this joke of an institution for the second time to deal with rotator cuff tears in both my shoulders. This is a common injury for folks like myself who are 60+ years old. First visit, waited over an hour past the appointment time, got an x-ray (which is useless for these tears) and an HA shot in each shoulder. Came back two weeks later with zero changes, waited for 40 minutes past the appointment time, got a 15 second exam and was given a recommendation for a specialist at another hospital. They billed me 970 yen for nothing. This is one of those old style Japanese hospitals who prey on patients with the sole intent of billing the national health insurance system per visit. BTW - No one that I met spoke any English whatsoever. I'll never go back to this sham of a hospital.

Really friendly and kind doctors, beautiful and clean interior for a hospital, and first floor has a Dotour coffee shop and a convenience store!

The hospital is huge, and they give me vaccines, so I have navigated the hospital. It seems a bit complicated, but everyone is very nice, and all you need to do is ask. They are always quite friendly and accommodating. One reviewer said they came here for an influenza check-up. Don't come here for something a small clinic can do. In general, large hospitals in Japan are not the same as in other countries. Small clinics serve the purpose of general medicine. Large hospitals are where you go when small clinics don't cut it. There tends to be a longer wait because of the specific nature of everyone's diseases.

The grounds are amazing; very healing with huge old trees, all kinds of plants, fruit trees, and even an herb garden. They also have a number of green roofs. Apparently they have a special group of volunteers dedicated to the landscape.
There is a Starbucks inside, and small shop. There is also a nursing school and an orphanage on the grounds.

I don't recommend getting viral gastroenteritis and needing to go the the ER at 5 a.m... but if you do, I do recommend coming here. The doctor was cheerful and helpful and spoke some English. Waited only 10 minutes or so and was in and out in a half hour.

Waited almost 4 hours on a weekday to get an influenza check up. Not recommended for people who want to get quick results.
