We booked for 5 days here and we have no regrets. The hotel is super near the station (like steps away) and is in the center(a lot of shops,convenience store and restau nearby).The staff are so accomodating and nice. They speak good english too. What's best about this place is the cleanliness of the area. SUPERB ABOVE ALL !!We will definitely go back ,thank you Hotel Sunroute Higashi Shinjuku!!!

The hotel is just steps away from the Fukutoshin line and very centrally located. The lobby attendants were very courteous and very multilingual. While waiting for my friend I watched as the front desk workers were able to assist guests in both English and Spanish. I did not stay at the hotel, I was meeting up with my friend who had come to Tokyo for a University STEM program. However, they are on my radar for when I do a Tokyo stay-cation and don't want to commute back to my home in far-west Tokyo (Okutama area).

The rooms were clean, small, and quite simple. This was a no frills hotel, but had all that you needed. The hotel was located right next to a Tokyo Metro station - which was very convenient.

Currently staying at the sunroute hotel. First room was small and then bathroom stunk of fish; the staff moved my husband and i to another room which was good.
Big disappointment however regarding the laundry service. Nobody advised there was a charge. They just advised "you can do it yourself or bring it to the counter " as if either way would be the same.
Noone advised there are charges or how much would be charged.
We arrived to our room after the second laundry service and see the bill. Noone provided us with the first bill. Suddenly 2 washes have cost us $200 aud

Staff was friendly and helpful. I stayed three nights in a twin room. The room was very comfortable. Breakfast had a lot of options and was delicious.
