No English tour. Disappointed. Yebisu was not familiar at all, so I'd like to know more about it. Beer was good, though.

This was a nice place to find out the story of Yebisu beer while sampling some of the fine beers. Although there was a small history tour, it didn't seem to interesting as it was only a walk through of some photos and exhibits in an adjacent room, which is accessible without the tour. Although the tour does end in a sampling of the beer, I opted to go straight to the beer sampling. The beer was a sampling set of the traditional light beer, an amber beer and dark beer. Overall I'd recommend this to any beer enthusiasts although it would be better if the tour and experience was more in depth with a viewing of the rest of the facility and the beer making process.

Worth a visit for beer lover!! The museum part is compact with a good history of Yebisu Beer. Unfortunately I visited quite last and missed the tour (last one was 17:10 if I recall correctly while the place closes at 19:00), I still had a great time enjoying the beer (5 different kinds in total - I ordered the tasting set with 3 mini-pint beers and 2 more regular pints) and the gallery myself. Recommended!

The museum part of this museum is pretty sparse. Another review said something like "it's a chill place to try some good beers". While this is very accurate, there are more chill places to drink better beer. But alas, the museum is free, it's raining, I've trekked out here, and they do have beer.

Cute museum! The tour is only in Japanese but at 500 yen for 2 beers we decided to go for it. Well worth it! The tour guide was lovely and kind and even answered some of my questions in English. We had an English brochure guide and the beer at the end was delicious and smooth.
