Visited on a rainy sunday for lunch - sitting outside
Was passing by on the way to Otemachi after dropping car off for servicing .... and as feet were soaked decided to grab a wine which turned into having lunch
Have been here in the past a few times for late afternoon / evening drinks sitting outside with friends and clients though have never eaten
Weekends is fairly quiet as this not a residential area - so a plus point for being able to get a seat - you've then a choice of two indoor spaces and then a street level area with a long bench table and a number of 2-4 setting tables
Menu geared towards meats - especially burgers - which i didn't realize having never looked at a menu on prior visits
Menu has a choice of ala carte - burgers, steaks, sandwiches and salads. There are then a handful of set menu's - ie salad, main dish and desert - all reasonably priced between 1,500 - 2,500 - their specialty burgers were around 1.850 from memory
Not really being a burger person i went for, which wasn't particular good for the heat, the gratin set - summer vegetables and beef cheek chunks with a curry sauce .
.......... best way to put it is that i'd not be rushing back here anytime soon for lunch/eating. The salad was clearly prepared way in advance and the avacado had dried up ( as if it had been cut the day before ) - same for the lettuce. Unfortunately the gratin didn't get any better either. I was told that the gratin takes 20 minutes, no problem, however when it arrived i am not sure what the 20 minutes had been for as the pot was hot but at the center the gratin was still cold ( not frozen ) .... it was rather a poor effort ..... the dessert was ok. Sadly it did all come across as prepared the evening or so before and wasn't particularly good for the price ...... i paid 3,900 for the Gratin set and 2 glasses of a french white from bordeaux region
Seeing as this is styling itself as a cafe and is part of the Andaz, which in turn the Hyatt group, they could at least match the quality of the Deli @ park hyatt - which is far superior in food quality vs what i had and at a far better price ............. perhaps its this area and the lack of competition at the weekend that makes it slack off
Recommend for drinks and outside space
Wouldn't recommend for lunch - far better choices during weekdays and weekend just walk up to Akasaka or over to Otemachi

Excellent buns, tasty and juicy patty, best truffle fries and side seasonal salad. Plain and comfortable decor with al fresco seating as well. We have truly enjoyed our lunch and view of 4 Sakura trees and beautiful architecture of Toranomon Hills.
