A peaceful green oasis in the middle of the towering cityscape of downtown Shinjuku. A good spot for a walk or a picnic or just to relax and read a book.

This is a pleasant little corner to recuperate it. The fresh air, leisurely pace the locals go about with hardly any tourists. It's great joy seeing some of the happy dogs walking in the park. This is a hidden gem especially for those who have just visited the Tokyo metropolitan government towers. This place offers views from the ground up that is unblocked with decorative greenery to add to the photos. It also offers great views to nearby skyscrapers.
The only downside is that the landscaping is not comparable to the other Parks in the city. But it doesn't cost anything either to enter. Put this in you itinerary if you can spare the extra 30-45 minutes here before heading off elsewhere.

Very nice, many people go jogging here and relax. It is a nice getaway from downtown.

Great place for a relaxing walk in the heart of Shinjuku. Use the opportunity to visit the two tall governmental building towers that have free top floor viewing platforms.
