I’ve been here many times. I like the place, but it feels rather ‘shadowed’ by all the other fun places in Akihabara.
Edit) I felt that they discriminate foreigners a bit so I lowered my review. No loss, there are better places to spend your time in the area and if you want a real deal you should be looking at amazon anyway.

Huge store. Tax free electronic goods if you are a foreigner. However, don't expect to save money by purchasing here. Goods are mostly sold at their maximum retail price. Plus, consider warranties and japan only language menus on consumer electronics.

Biggest Electronics store in central Tokyo. It has 8 floors with electronics and a huge variety of everything.
As usual has some restaurants on the top floors. The camera department has all the newest cameras which you can hold and try out! Very interesting place!

A paradise for technology enthusiastic. There are 10 floors and you can find so many electronic devices. They do tax free if you have your passport (8% off) and if you pay with visa card even more discount (5% off). Most of the staff can speak English. It is amazing mega gadget shop. 5 stars and thumbs up.!!!
