Lovely restaurant area, close to the park, boat museum, tower and hotels on one end, and close to the ferris wheel, amusement park and more on the other. Shopping for local goods and restaurants. Great place to spend a day.

Yokohama red brick warehouse holds a special place close to my heart because there is an annual festival i have attended (3 years in a row now).
However, this year I explored outside the vicinity of the festival, I fell in love. It's very calming, blue sky, sun was out, the ocean is beautiful to look at, open free spaces, there was an array of beautiful flowers. It is genuinely a place to escape the busy and ever crowded capital (Tokyo).
One thing about yokohama that I really enjoyed is the fact that it's a relatively new city and you can see it and feel it.

So crouded inside (along with shops inside), but great to bring your own obentou (lunch box) and have a snack with a view to the seaside!

Very nice place to visit, they have Christina market in December and the red brick building is full of stores and restaurants. Can be pretty crowded tho.
They also have ice skating which is pretty cheap but you have to pay for entrance (¥500) and skate rental (¥500). Not the best ring and not the biggest but it was easy to get around without bumping in to anyone, very nice views and a good place to bring your SO for a romantic day/night.
