If you're on a budget, this hostel is the place to go. The bathroom (private or shared) can be a bit small for some people (but since I'm small-sized it wasn't a problem for me) but pretty clean. Bed was clean and comfortable. No need for AC since the temperature outside was already cold, but the floors were heated during the night to keep your feet warm. Free breakfast starting 8.30 AM with basic cereal, toast and jams, tea, coffee, milk, and juice. One extra dish was provided everyday (you can get choco pie, or eggs on the next day). Staffs were friendly, and the boss helped me to carry my big luggage all the way from and to the 3rd floor. Location wise is very strategic, if you go out of the hostel and go to the right you can go to the subway station while to the left you can go to the bus station. Pharmacy, restaurants, and convenience stores are also nearby.

You get what you pay for! Tiny room without AC, but clean and cheap. This is probably as good as a hostel gets and I learned that they are not for me. A private bathroom and AC are worth the extra money for me, but if you're okay without then this would be incredible. 😊

I thought the place looks okay, the room is very small, the man working in the front desk was Not very kind when you ask him for help, especially when you interrupt him while he is in front of a computer. I asked him for an eye solution because my eye was irritated and red, he was like slamming things around looking for the solution. When I told him, "it's okay never mind", he rudely slides the window door closed that almost pinch my arm. My first time here in S. Korea and in this hostel, I am very disappointed!!!

Hostel Korea was a neat find for me. I needed a place for a night in Seoul and came across the hostel via airbnb. It was about $20 for a single bed room not shared. However, when I got there they had run out of single beds and offered to bump me up to a double free of charge! Awesome gesture. I ended up needing to wait about an hour for the double bed room to be cleaned so they offered me a bunk room while I waited. I ended up just going up the street and eating for an hour and came back to a bigger bed. The rooms are small and quite basic, but I'm used to it traveling around Asia. I would have given the place five stars for the upgrade and private room for the same price as a dorm bed, but I docked them a star due to privacy issues. The staff should really knock and wait a bit before opening the door. This happened on multiple occasions, and the staff was just opening doors checking for an empty room for me without really waiting after the knock. In the morning, again, I heard a knock and answered, but the staff member opened the door before really waiting. I was shaving before leaving so nothing came about, but I could see how this is a total intrusion of privacy. What if it was a girl changing? Anyway, I only docked one star instead of two due to the front desk guy being helpful. Overall, a decent find! Just need to retrain staff on privacy. Thanks for reading!

A clean and decent place to stay in Seoul when you're working on a budget. The room we booked was small good for 2 persons generally, but we added a bed. It has a bunk bed, blower, small TV, own bathroom, and towels that can be requested from the reception. They also have free internet access in all rooms and the connection was fast. There's just no free toiletries, and if you want to avail, they offer it in the reception for a minimal fee. The booking comes with a breakfast consists of bread, cookies, coffee or tea, milk or juice, which was served in the common kitchen area. Just manage your expectation cause this is a budget hostel. All in all, the experience was good.
