Came to see Foo Fighters play an open air gig first time in Riga. Good place for the stage, as there is no curfew and loud music can continue after midnight. The only downside is that it's a very sandy area, strong winds will force the sand in your hair, clothes and plastic beer cups. Lucky I had sunglasses.

Enjoy your time with family. Playground, swimming place volleyball or simply walking.

Lovely place - to be easily reached by walk, bike or car, with many kids park attractions, several places with refreshment, its a little island on Daugava river so in warm days you can enjoy also swimming in the river with nice little sand spots/beaches to easily enter the water.

A new and nice park for walks, summer sports, picnics. It has a good children playground with things to do for children of various ages.
