Nice and quiet, lots of places to sit. A good place to go duck feeding ( buy canned corn instead of bread if you don't want to cause health problems for the ducks). A few historical landmarks to look at. There is also a small playground for kids.

Oldest park in Riga, where was held first Latvian Singing Celebration.You can find there 100 anniversary monument for this event, what honors greatest composers in Latvian history. Don`t miss out lines of songs, what are carved in those monuments. Here you can also find part of Alexander gate, what is only Triumph arch in Latvia.
