dim sum here is great. Also the view of the park while eating lunch is an amazing experience.

The food is a bit of a hit and miss. But the ones that are good are really delicious.

The unfortunate thing is that I actually have to give this a star in order to review it. It should have negative stars. Like negative infinity. This place is a farce. Labeling this a 'dim sum' place is probably THE greatest injustice ever inflicted upon any cuisine to come out of any country. To call this place a pariah is to give it too much credit. Even without the dim sum moniker, the 'food' coming out the 'kitchen' here would not stand a chance even in the abominable Jalan Alor. And we've not even gotten to their shameless extortionistic assault on your bank account. Don Carleone wouldn't have been so brave. Save your money and do it at home if you're so inclined to eat dishes like those served here. All you gotta do is watch 'how to basic' on youtube to prepare food of comparable quality. A sampling of their many failures: 1. The fried rice. Take oil recycled from the drains, use the cheapest rice you can buy from NSK, throw in some frozen veggies and crab meat and mix in a COLD (i kid you not, it felt like it was not cooked over a fire) pan. 2. Prawn mango spring rolls. Go to frozen section of your local supermarket and buy spring rools, stuff some cheap mangoes from your local pasar malam, serve it. And finally, after taking a bite of your food, you'll understand the largely homogeneous clientele you see around you. These are not people you would find at any respectable dim sum establishment. These are the people with dubiously obtained titles, whose drivers are waiting from them in their heavily tinted black Toyota Al-farts, most likely double and triple parked somewhere, spending their croniers all the while feeling proud that they're eating (what they think is an exotic cuisine) because they aren't allowed in an actual dim sum place. It's all too easy to best this place, all ya gotta do is Lai Peen Si and serve it.

Amazed by their signature dish- Roasted duck. Other than that, food were good to me. Excellent customer service in my opinion.

Lai Po Heen is one of the first class Chinese restaurant in Kuala Lumpur. The environment is classic, the food is good.
