Friendly staff, clean rooms, charming atrium, safe parking behind a locked gate, and DOG FRIENDLY! We loved it. The location isn't particularly walkable though.

Very affordable. Nothing fancy. Located on a very busy street. They offer a decent breakfast.

READ IF YOU WANT A FULL HONEST EXPERIENCE, VERY DETAILED:
First off, the hotel was a very reasonable price. When we arrived there the view was very appealing with the tree and the vines giving the hotel a great look. Upon our arrival, the staff was very friendly. There is no elevator so you will have to take the stairs. The rooms were a decent size with acceptation size beds. They made little swines out of the towels to give a welcoming atmosphere. As we looked around there room, it came with just a refrigerator. There was no microwave or stove in the rooms. As we walked around the room we noticed mud on the floor in front of the shower and toilet. The floors looked as though they could have been cleaned better then what they were. We arrived here Thursday and left Sunday, there was absolutely NO HOT WATER!!!! When we complained to the woman who works on the night shift, she stated that she will turn on the water, and to give it 10 minutes, so we went back to the room. We came back after the 10 minutes, and she claimed that she turned back on the hot water and that she didn't know what was wrong with the system since it all runs from one system for all of the rooms. She asked for me to give it an addition 25 minutes. We gave it 30 minutes and still the water was cold. The water did not even reach to luke warm water!!!! The water at the beach was warmer then the water that was at the hotel (NO JOKE)!!!! The next day on Friday, when we were ready to take another shower, yet again, no hot water. We complained to the man at the front desk and he told us that he just turned it off 10 minutes ago. We stated to him that we had this same issue just the night before. He asked us who did we tell, we informed him that we told the lady and there was nothing that was done to fix this issue. The same day we complained to the man about it, we ran the water for an HOUR just to see if there was any hot water was going to come through which it wasn't. On Saturday we complained that we had to take cold shower again and if they could move us rooms or something, because ever since we arrived we have been having to take cold showers, and the same woman stated to us that we should have told the other guy. I told her we have been having this issue since we arrived at their hotel! We stated to her that we DID tell him. We just got so tired of having to complain , we just decided to take it to google reviews.
NIGHT LIFE:
Just know that the woman who works the night shift locks the gate at a certain time so you will have to try to get her attention in order for her to come and let you in the gate. She will have an attitude when letting you in so be prepared.
PARKING:
There are 5 parking spots in the hotel (literally). when the gate is open, you have to drive your vehicle in the hotel, and try to squeeze in one of the spots because it is a tight area. If you have a bigger vehicle, good luck!!!! one of the spots is occupied by a trampoline (I guess that is their way of trying to make the hotel kid friendly....)

For the price.. you shouldn't expect much... I first got a bad room, but they accommodated me and got me a better room. Tip your housekeeper and everyone else. I would get a car if you are staying here.. makes things easier.
