I have been renting cars from Fox quite some times coming to Mexico, unfortunately I have to say that the service was really super super bad, we where 4h30 hours in the office today waiting to renew a contract ! the person in charge in Tulum named Jonathan at Fox was really unprofessional and was unable to renew a contract in these 4h30. we had to call the police to finish it! we are on holiday here in Mexico FOX! we dont want to waist our time doing papers for hours and hours that are not even correct at the end. 2 Polish guys where there and they have been in the office since 4 days in a row and today from 9 AM to 8 pm because they crashed a car and Fox wanted 32000 pesos for the tow of the car. Come on thats not serious especially if you have a full coverage.... Insurance coverage are not clear at all, its a rip off and thats the last time I will use FOX. Thanks for waisting our time :-(

This people robbed me. They gave me a minivan with a cracked windshield. I made pictures of the car at pick up where you could see the small crack. they still charged me for it 1.000 U.S Dollars. Avoid this company at all cost. they are crooks. they will get your money anyway they can. Horrible, Terrible experience.

Not only the agent's attitude is absolutely horrible, we payed for the reservation online through a rental site and when we arrived at the counter, she wanted to charge 3 times the amount we had already paid in addition to an excessively high hold on the credit card. I would not recommend this service at all.

I used this company the 1st time without a huge problem. They placed a $2500 hold on my credit card which is typical for mexico. The second time I rented they tried 3 to 4 times to make me pay for the rental insurance at discounted rates then they told me they did not have the vehicle I reserved and an upgrade was available for $30+ per day. I told them to cancel my reservation at this point. I do not recommend a rental with Fox Rent a Car D. F.
