I was treated wonderfully by Gold Car Rental. There seems to be a lot of negative reviews regarding car rental companies at Mexico City Int. Airport. I had a lot of trouble with my credit card and Israel allowed me to pay half in cash and the other half after I returned the car. He was very patient with my situation. The car I received was in great condition, for a fair price. The rest of the staff was equally as friendly. I would highly recommend Gold Car Rental.

Good prices and good cars, As with anything always check prices when paying and CHECK list when receiving car - common sense - best deal 350 or 450 w/ac and 250 kms per day, always USE C.C. for retainer and pay cash for rent, no complaints here just Kudos!

My story..I made a reservation with Europcar almost a month before my arrival to Mexico city... when I got there they had no cars !!!!!! So it was worthless my reservation .. i went to check around with other Rental Company's and they were trying to rip me off on the price... on my search I ran into GOLD CAR RENTAL where they gave me a great deal and a clean vehicle . Thank you Gold Car Rental .... overall a had a great experience and this Rental company save my trip...

I dont know what happened to the reviewers below because we had a good experience with Gold Car rental at DF Airport. Initially we organized a car through another company which turned out a lot more expensive than the original online deal.. They were gracious enough to suggest Gold Car rental where we got looked after by Israel who was very nice and polite and didnt try to cheat us in any way. Truth is, it pays being able to speak and understand at least basic Spanish. Long story short we hired a little Matiz which served us well without a glitch over the 3000+ Km trip from DF to Cancun via Pacific coast, Oaxaca, Chiapas and whole Yucatan. It must have been luck :)
