Great pricing, great service. Margarita is the best!

Would recommend. £35 including all insurance/collision cover etc which is way cheaper than anywhere else. The staff are great and super friendly. The car was a cool, clean, new little VW. Don't be put off by the shabby looking shop!

We just returned from a 8 day trip to Cozumel and rented a car from ISIS Rentadora. The place is small and in town, but they are truly the most honest car rental in Cozumel. All cars include full insurance and tax in their daily rental. Try that with the big guys in Cozumel. We heard horror stories from others who rented from the big guys and were charged outrageous insurance rates and other fees. When you first arrive at ISIS it looks like a rundown office, but the cars are what they promise. You can rent everything from a VW convertible (a bit of a beater) to a jeep and/or small sedan with A/C. Our condo owner recommended ISIS and I'm glad she did. If you want and honest car rental in Cozumel, go to ISIS Rentadora.

While visiting Mexico, we took the ferry to Cozumel to tour the island. We originally planned to rent a scooter, but the ferry ride over was rough, and my wife wasn't feeling well, so we decided to rent a jeep instead.
All the rental places when you get off the ferry look the same. A few years ago, we rented a scooter in Cozumel and had a wonderful experience.
Anyway, we talked to one of the vendors and decided on the jeep. Another guy walked us over to the actual rental place. We completed our paperwork and the guy told us he would meet us around the corner. This was ok, as the place is small and on a narrow street.
We met the guy around the corner in front of a nasty looking jeep with about a gazillion miles on it. He gave us the keys and left. When we got in, I noticed it was a stick. That's ok with me, but there are a lot of people who can't drive a stick, and this wasn't mentioned.
Upon starting the jeep, the first thing I noticed was a complete lack of a muffler. I wanted to immediately return it, but my wife was still not feeling well, and we wanted to get to the sister resort of the one we were staying at do we could get something to settle her stomach and sit for a while.
The entire time I drove it, I fully expected to be pulled over for noise. Overall, the jeep was filthy, my hands stuck to the steering wheel, and half the dash board was missing.
We did explore the island and had a good time. On the eastern side of the island, it was quite windy, and the windshield was encrusted with salt. I couldn't find the wiper switch and joked with my wife that it probably had no washer fluid anyway.
When we stopped along the way, I noticed it not only had no washer fluid, but it had no wiper switch (probably part of the section of dash that was missing), but it also had no wipers!
I've rented many vehicles both on vacation and business. I've never rented such a pathetic, unsafe, filthy vehicle in my life.
The funny part of the whole experience is, when we returned it, they gave it a thorough look over to make sure I returned it in "good condition". Driving this piece of garbage into the sea would have only improved it!
Never, never use this place to rent a vehicle!

Good experience renting a car in Cozumel. The folks are very friendly and helpful. The lady took some time and explained how the streets in the city are laid out and some helpful tips about driving on the island. Our car was a small Nissan in good shape and did what we needed it to do. If you bring the car back without refueling they will charge you for the gas, which was easier than dealing with a gas station for me. For someone who had never been out of the USA it was a good experience. A nice car for a good price. I will definitely rent here when in Cozumel again.
