This restaurant is definitively worth the wait and the visit. You will usually find it crowded and you may have to wait 30-40 minutes to get a table (but it's possible to arrive without reservation). It is located on the top floor of the famous bookstore Porrúa, which usually has exhibitions on the second floor that you can visit while you wait for a table at the restaurant.
The tortillas are handmade and in the menu you'll find a great variety of Mexican food (from prehispanical dishes including insects, to edgier dishes that combine a lot of typical ingredients, and traditional dishes like tacos). The restaurant is located in a touristy spot in the city, the prices are affordable. Service was fast and very receptive.
It is a great place to visit for people who are not familiar with the city and also want to taste traditional Mexican food, it offers a nice environment and an amazing view! More than a restaurant it offers an unforgettable experience!

Very nice place to relax after visiting different places around "El Zocalo". Food was good but service was not the best. Maybe it was or server but I believe it could be better. Next time I am in Mexico City, I'll be back to give it another try.

Wonderful restaurant with amazing food and incredible view! The lady in the picture (in charge of seating) ruined the experience a bit. We were sitting a little further away from the terrace and asked her to add us to the waiting list so we can maybe change tables. She was so rude and curt with us, she briskly said that she can't change settings while walking away from us. Otherwise great!
