The main pieces of important Mexican artists are not here. You would expect at least one Frida Kahlo's piece in the museum, but no, there is any.
Yet it has a good collection of works, and it is a very beautiful building to visit.

Stunning art display, historical landmarks around, amazing architectural design. Not very crowded. Great for dating or reading.

One of the best museums in México. More than 4 centuries of art in one place. Also many good temporal expositions.
